Tredict Newsletter March 2026

Dear ,

here I am again with the Tredict Newsletter!

A small request beforehand, if you have read or skimmed through the newsletter, I would be ever so pleased to receive a brief reply to this address, so that I can see whether the newsletter is being read at all. As with everything else, Tredict uses absolutely no tracking mechanisms! Besides you are using Tredict with your sports tracker... ;-)

The "Tredict App Developer Contest" 2026 is just around the corner! If you would like to develop a tool, an app or anything else that is in any way connected to Tredict, then take part in the "Tredict App Developer Contest" and win up to 3 years of full access! With https://www.tredict.com/llms-full.txt there is even an API description for your LLM to hand.

More about this in the blog: https://www.tredict.com/blog/tredict_app_developer_contest_2026/

And anyone who has not yet received a Tredict mouse mat and Tredict stickers is welcome to reply directly to this newsletter with their postal address. Tredict ships worldwide, free of charge.

So what splendid things have been happening? Let us have a look.

Tredict Personal API
Create one or more personal access tokens in Tredict to gain access to your personal training data via the "Tredict Personal API". You see, I take this very "personal"! This offers you a straightforward way to use the Tredict API without having to implement a complex OAuth flow.

Write your own scripts, apps and workflows in conjunction with the numerous API endpoints that Tredict provides. Upload or download activities, read HRV and sleep data, or create complete reusable training plans with the Tredict API.

The complete Tredict API documentation can be found here: https://www.tredict.com/blog/oauth_docs/#endpoints

Your LLM, should you use one, can make very good use of this as well: https://www.tredict.com/llms-full.txt

Tredict MCP Server
An MCP server is, much like the Personal API, an interface, but one that can be integrated universally by AI assistants, AI platforms and agents. The "Tredict MCP Server" can therefore be connected to Claude.ai, ChatGPT, Mistral, Codex or many other AI tools that are able to consume the "Model Context Protocol".

This allows you to have your complete training history analysed by the AI or LLM of your choice, find brilliant training sessions in the AI chat and display them for comparison, or have complex reusable training plans with structured workouts spanning entire months created directly in Tredict. Since a training plan, once applied in Tredict, lands automatically on your watch, the circle of Analysis <> AI/LLM <> Watch/Execution is complete.

For coaches, creating plans with the help of AI also represents a considerable reduction in workload, as the individual structured workouts can be generated quickly in a reusable plan according to the coach's specifications!

All of this is also GDPR-compliant. Just as with the Personal API, you integrate the MCP server into the AI platform, bringing Tredict to the AI rather than the AI to Tredict, and it has access exclusively to your own data.

Find out more about the countless possibilities that the Tredict MCP Server brings to training analysis and planning with artificial intelligence: https://www.tredict.com/blog/use_ai_assistants_and_llms_with_the_tredict_mcp_server_and_interactive_mcp_apps/

Extended Stryd Metrics
Christmas may be long past, but by popular request there are now more Stryd dynamics available, such as Leg Spring Stiffness Balance, Impact Loading Rate, Impact Loading Rate Balance and Vertical Oscillation Balance.
Tredict displays these in the series charts, the activity detail dynamics card, as well as in the aggregation and relation diagrams of the evaluation category. Compare, for example, the Stryd Leg Spring Stiffness Balance with the Impact Loading Rate Balance to see how they interact with Ground Contact Time.

Concept2 Logbook API
Better late than never, connect your Concept2 Logbook account to Tredict and automatically synchronise your completed training sessions to Tredict. You can finally get your rowing, skiing and bike ergometer sessions synchronised automatically and directly into your calendar without any hassle(hoff).
The history import for older Concept2 activities covers 8 years (sic!) of training history.
Only training sessions that also contain series data, such as stroke rate, heart rate, etc., will be synchronised.

Don't be a rowdy, just row! :-)

"Zwift to Tredict Uploader" by Daniel Dean
Daniel Dean, that thoroughly decent chap from the UK, has written a "Zwift to Tredict Uploader" in Python and has kindly made it available on GitHub under the MIT licence. The uploader makes use of "tredictpy", also crafted by Daniel, which is a rather handy Python wrapper for the Tredict API.

Through Daniel I also came across Zwift for Linux, which is naturally well worth a look for all the Linux enthusiasts amongst us!

According to his website, Daniel is a Data Engineer and triathlete. Well, that fits rather nicely, doesn't it! :-)

Many thanks to Daniel!!!

Workout Sync to Wahoo and Suunto
The workout sync, that is to say the sync of planned structured training sessions to Wahoo and Suunto, has been around for roughly 2 years now, but I should like to mention it again for the sake of completeness.
Tredict synchronises planned and structured workouts to Garmin, Coros, Suunto, Wahoo, icTrainer and, via Dropbox, to Zwift (Desktop) as well.

In conjunction with an LLM, this opens up a remarkably broad spectrum of possibilities that would have been quite unthinkable just 5 years ago.

It is as it always is, somehow one always ends up in the future! So much for time travel being impossible. Simply wait a little while and there you are!

Tredict wishes you a successful training!
