Tredict is now officially connected to the Rouvy API. Your cycling sessions planned in Tredict synchronize to Rouvy automatically from now on and are then ready there for your smart trainer. When you connect, you can also import the last three years of your Rouvy training history in one go, so that your previous rides flow directly into your analysis and form calculation.
Together with Zwift, Hammerhead, GoldenCheetah, icTrainer, Garmin and Wahoo, all of which can run structured workouts planned in Tredict, this brings together a strong alliance for cyclists.
ZWO format and FTP control
Like Zwift, Rouvy uses the ZWO format for its workouts, which is power-based and driven by FTP. The best way to plan a Rouvy workout is therefore by power, using relative FTP values. Tredict passes these relative percentages through to the ZWO format unchanged, so 75% FTP stays 75% FTP. If you plan an interval with absolute watts instead, Tredict converts it into the matching relative value based on the FTP in effect on that training day. And if you plan an interval as a relative percentage range, Tredict still transfers that intensity as a relative percentage of your FTP, and therefore as power, even if you tied it to heart rate or pace.

How do you plan a workout for Rouvy?
The easiest way is to create your workout right in the Tredict calendar, for example from a reusable template, and plan it by power. All that matters is that your FTP in Tredict and your FTP in Rouvy match. Consider which FTP should be your source of truth. The most natural choice is your Tredict FTP, because that is where you maintain your date-based capacity revisions across platforms and over the years, all in one place.
You can also create reusable training plans yourself or have your coach create them for you. If your coach has access to your calendar, they handle the planning directly for you, and the planned workouts are then ready in Rouvy automatically.
Create workouts for Rouvy with AI
Another powerful option is to create entire training plans or individual workouts with the Tredict ChatGPT Plugin or with other providers such as Claude or Mistral. That way, the AI of your choice analyzes your training history and plans workouts for Rouvy that fit. This is a very convenient and direct way to connect Rouvy with ChatGPT.
A prompt in the Tredict ChatGPT Plugin could look like this:
Create three varied cycling workouts I can do on Rouvy in a Tredict plan.
Three cycling workouts created by AI as a training plan in the Tredict ChatGPT Plugin, which sync to Rouvy automatically.
The workouts planned by ChatGPT in Tredict appear automatically in the Tredict folder in Rouvy.
Rouvy training in your Tredict form curve
Whether planned or already ridden, the training effort of your Rouvy workouts flows straight into your Tredict form curve. That gives you one central place, across all brands, where you read your form and build your training on it, no matter how many platforms and devices you use.

Connect to Rouvy
The process is quickly explained. On the connection page, in the Services category, you select the Rouvy icon, sign in to Rouvy and confirm access. After that, synchronization runs automatically in both directions. The cycling sessions you have planned in Tredict travel to Rouvy as structured workouts, and the sessions you ride there come back for detailed analysis and form calculation, together with the last three years of your Rouvy training history if you wish.
